Patrick Henry was a prominent figure in the American Revolution, known and remembered for his “Give me Liberty, or give me Death” speech. Along with Samuel Adams and Thomas Paine, he was one of the most influential (and radical) advocates of the American Revolution.

Mr. Henry is also remembered for using the phrase “United We Stand, Divided We Fall” in his last public speech, given in March 1799. Then and now we are reminded unless the people are united and one people, it is easy to destroy them.

Americans are a resilient people. And the signature of this spirit is our ability to unite as one people regardless of race, color or creed. And let us not forget that ‘it is better to light one candle than curse the darkness” as we proceed…TOGETHER.
